About Event

This Conference is organized as a joint effort of EU Tempus Project, IACE & APII, supported by HP, ISPIM, OINetwork EU to promote the first INNOVATION MASTER degree in Tunisia. We often associate innovation with technology, but the scope of innovation is much broader. For this reason, we decided to organize a conference that deals with innovation by considering the company as whole: organisation, products & customers, and emplyees. During the conference, international experts will present you the latest trends and concepts in innovation management, and representatives of Tunisian firms will share with you their innovative experiences. The journey starts with exploring how can a company innovate its structure and organisation, and the benefits it would draw out of it. Then, a new strategic trend will be exposed and explained: open innovation. What is it? How can a firm implement it? What does it bring to the company? The expert speaker will answer these points. Finally, we will explore the relationship between leadership and innovation. Are you curious, register to our event !

He holds Master's dergrees in mathematics and management from Harvard University in Boston and teaches in both American and Tunisian universities. Lotfi Saibi has authored many white papers and articles in the areas of leadership, customer service, operations, and business development. Mr. Saibi’s vast management experience as a business owner, a consultant, VP sales, and more recently as CEO, coupled with his love to teach and mentor, has made him a very well respected leader among his peers, customers, and competitors.

Dr. Hagen Habicht is Executive Director and Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Leading Innovation and Cooperation (CLIC) at HHL – Leipzig Graduate School of Management. He received his Diplomkaufmann at the Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena and his PhD at TUM Business School in Munich in the field of stakeholder-based perception of organizations.

Dr. Majdi Hassen is the Executive Director of IACE, L'Institut Arabe des Chefs d'Entreprise (The Arab Institute of Business Managers). The Institute promotes the good governance inamenterprises and offers business managers training courses and seminars. The efforts of the Institute also focus on studies and research on the transformation of the Tunisianameconomy and the role of the private sector. Dr. Hassen is an assistant professor at the University of Tunis as well as a consultant for various organisations. He has authored numerous research papers onamentrepreneurship and corporate governance, and conducted many research projects in those fields. Mr. Hassen holds a Doctorate in Finance. He is also a certified trainer with UNDP inamentrepreneurship and with IFC in corporate governance.

Abdelmonam Kouka is a Tunisian computer engineer. He got his engineering diploma in computer science in 2007 from one of the best engineering schools in Tunisia (ENSI), After this he got a master's degree in Information Security from the same school (ENSI) in 2009 and a master's degree in free and open source software from ISI/UVT in 2011. Starting from 2012 and until writing this book, he has been a student at master level in Innovation Management (DICAMP.eu project).
